Following four years in the Navy, Tom decided against accepting an appointment to the US Naval Academy and left the Navy to pursue a college degree in psychology, spending the next decade earning his Masters and Ph.D., while working with severely disenfranchised children.
Through a variety of circumstances and opportunities, he became partner and President of the largest small advertising/marketing agency in West Los Angeles, Kaiser McEuen, Managing Partner of an international financial services company, funding real estate developments in Latin America, a financial advisor serving the senior market and finally, a realtor. All in this order.
Since obtaining his realtors license, Tom has worked with his wife, Sherri, a real estate broker, and together written over three-quarters of a billion dollars in real estate.
Tom brings to his practice a unique and in-depth blend of marketing, financial and business management skills and experiences that have benefited many of his clients facing perplexing real estate transactions. As an example, one of their clients desperately needed to sell their high-end home and even though they received an acceptable offer, would not move forward as there wasn’t equity in their home which would allow them to move forward to a new property. And they hadn’t any financial reserves. Without knowing it, both owners qualified for social security income, as did their two young children, which once filed for generated a monthly, tax-free income well over $7000 a month. We closed the sale.
In each and every experience Tom steadfastly pursues a best practices agenda, always putting his clients first, treating them with respect, honesty and integrity.
When he has the time, Tom plays golf, avidly reads and has recently begun taking trumpet lessons. He has been married to the love of his life for 32 years and is the proud father of two wonderful sons, ages 22 and 23.
A graduate of USC he loves Trojan football, enthusiastically supporting the team and longing for a national title.
His heroes in life include Winston Churchill and Arnold Palmer; Not necessarily in that order.SEARCH PROPERTIES
