Newport Beach, Calif. – John McMonigle, principal of Newport Beach-based McMonigle Group Inc., announces a global outreach initiative with the recent launch of McMonigle International and the appointment of Lili Kung Peters as president of the new division. While highlighting real estate investment opportunities in Southern California, the new division will cater to the group’s international clientele – both for the sale and purchase of local properties.

“Further expanding our services to our clientele, it was a natural progression to extend to the international community our collection of premier real estate, and brand offerings; thus, we are excited to introduce McMonigle International,” notes Group Principal John McMonigle. In appointing Peters to lead the new efforts, he continues, “Lili is a vibrant, charismatic leader, who understands team dynamics, negotiations, and the inner workings of the local market. With a strong background in international business and multi-culture experience, she is uniquely qualified to take the helm of this new post.”

Over the past few years, the Gold Coast of Orange County has increasingly become a magnet to global clientele with discerning tastes. With the softening of the local real estate market, it is recognized world over that there is tremendous value in owning a piece of the California lifestyle and dream. McMonigle International seeks to become an all-inclusive shopping destination for clients from around the world.

A native of Taiwan, Peters joins the group with a wealth of international marketing and business expertise. With a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, she has spent much of her career with Merck & Co., one of the largest pharmaceutical companies worldwide and Fortune Magazine’s ‘Most Admired Company’ seven years running. Her passion for international business, coupled with an old-fashioned work ethic positioned her to head up global marketing organizations with responsibility spanning 50+ countries. Since moving to Newport Beach in 2004, Peters has established a successful second career in the real estate industry, focusing on high-end luxury properties in coastal Orange County.

“This position offers the rare opportunity to combine my passion for international relations and local real estate. And I feel privileged to be part of the McMonigle team,” states Peters. “I, for one, cannot wait to get started and set sail!”

Peters is a graduate of the prestigious National Taiwan University, and holds an advanced degree from Rutgers University in New Jersey. She is multi-lingual with fluency in English and Chinese, and understands both Japanese and French.

Based in Newport Beach, the McMonigle Group holds offices in Mission Viejo, Huntington Beach, Del Mar and La Jolla.
